Sorry D and G: Couldn't resist stealing your title as it seemed the same sort of way to deal with a hot evening in such different places.......This was the night before Marisia and I took the kids to Pt Lonsdale.
I checked this morning and Altona Beach is often picked as the best kid-friendly bayside beach. And Pt Lonsdale the best further out on the western side. So Marisia and I are going to take them to Altona and check it out.
